Dear Editor,

Re: Why pastors should pay taxes

Thank you Ben for your interesting take.

Your mastery of the rhetorical question must be noted.

The passion with which you write is not lost also, second only to your sound biblical knowledge concerning Sakaio and Jesus practice of paying taxes whe he was on Earth. Malo le saili, faafetai le faasoa!

However, please remember that he was not a faifeau! He is the Son of God, the Second Person of the Trinity, the Lord and Saviour of all who believe in Him and have received the salvation

He gave through His life, death, resurrection and ascension. He is currently at the right hand of God the Father, mediating for all, awaiting the day that He will return and usher in the New Heavens and New Earth!

As Christians, Samoans know that He is here with us through the presence of His Holy Spirit, the Spirit of the Father, God’s Spirit that convicts us and continues to mould us into His image, the perfect image of the Most High, the God of Creation, the Holy Trinity, the God of Samoa!...Ia faamanuia tele le

Atua i lau Susuga Ben ma lou soifua tautua i le Atua ma lo tatou malo i soo so ala ua faatino ai...Shalom!

Emmanuel
