Rugby Academy Samoa (R.A.S.) has been given a handsome financial injection of $15,000 from Devondale Milk through Ah Liki Wholesale.

Tatio Momoe Fotua’ava, Site Manager at Ah Liki Wholesale Vaitele, praised the new partnership between Devondale and R.A.S.

“This sponsorship is Devondale way of giving back to our local community,” said Head of Marketing, Caroline Pereira.

“Through this donation we hope to provide assistance in the development of rugby here in Samoa by supporting the Rugby Academy Samoa program for 2017.”

Devondale believes in harnessing/developing  rugby skills at an early age, hence why Deveonadal have come onboard to support the R.A.S. program at the grass too level.  As one of the sponsors for R.A.S. for 2017 we would like to remind everyone on the importance of working together with our local partners.

Deveondale hopes that the partnership with R.A.S. will assist in the development of our youth to represent the country in the sport of rugby in the future.

There to receive the cheque on behalf of R.A.S. was Galumalemana George Stowers and Fautua Otto.

Galumalemana thanked Devondale and Ah Liki Wholesale for coming on board to support their cause.

R.A.S is currently preparing for their campaign Aloha World Sevens (A.W.S), which is the worlds largest junior men’s and women’s sevens tournament.

R.A.S. will be representing Samoa in a fight to the finish against 12 other teams from around the world.   However, the boys are in experienced hands as they are led by Samoa Sevens’ legends, Lolo Lui and Fautua Otto.
