People are lovely and friendly.

That’s the first thing that comes to mind when Kirsty Zoomin was asked about what she thinks of Samoa.

Kirsty is here with her two daughters and her husband for a vacation.

The family is from Brisbane, Australia and this is their first time in Samoa.

They are in the country to support their team, the Queensland Reds, against the Auckland Blues, last night.

Speaking to the Weekend Observer Ms. Zoomin said the trip is worth it because they have always heard of Samoa but never seen it.

And now that they are here they don’t regret it.

“We have been staying at Return to Paradise Resort and it was so lovely,” she said.

“This is our first time in Apia and it is so beautiful.

“We watched the kid’s performance and we saw how much the Samoan people and the students value their culture and tradition and that is something we don’t get to see back in Australia.

“It’s a little bit different here because we have been approached by a local to sponsor a team to go back to Australia so we gave them $50 to help out and hopefully that will go into that event.”

Ms. Zoomin went on to say that Samoa is unique because the people are lovely.

“They are very accommodating, very nice and friendly.

“As we were staying at the resort we had some traditional entertainment and we even came here to see the independence celebration.”

“We will definitely recommend Samoa to our friends back home as a matter of fact we have plans to come back at the end of the year because it is such a beautiful country.

“As for the food because we eat sea food and that’s why we are in love with this place. The seafood is just amazing, the fish is always fresh and everything else so this trip is worth it.”

Will they return to Samoa?

Of course, she said.

In that case, we hope to see you soon. And bring your friends and families.
