Chamber members hear from Samoa Airways, Taumeasina Resort plans

Samoa Chamber of Commerce held its April members meeting last Tuesday. 

The meeting was sponsored by Taumeasina Island Resort and held at their Conference Room at Taumeasina.

The meeting was chaired by Samoa Chamber of Commerce President, Jennifer Ula Fruean, who provided an update to members of the current activities of the organisation. 

The Samoa Chamber of Commerce featured a guest presentation by Dwayne Bentley, the Marketing and Communications Specialist from Samoa Airways. 

Mr. Bentley discussed Samoa Airway’s marketing strategy and the current schedule of flights, as well as the latest sales and distribution channels allowing Samoa Airways to link online with G.D.S. Connection such as Amadeus. 

The business community was acknowledged for its ongoing support and commitment to Samoa’s very own airline.

General Manager of Taumeasina Island Resort, Nathan Bucknall, also gave a special presentation on the expansion of the Resort, encompassing additional and upgraded suites and villas and extension of resort facilities. 

It was reiterated that over the next couple of years, Taumeasina Island Resort will only get bigger and better. Mr. Bucknall welcomed any interested investors to contact the management of the resort for more information. 

Nine new members were introduced and they were Asotasi – Le Property Host Samoa, Moana Rentals, Grey Investments, Insight Legal, E.B.B. Samoa, ALFA Ltd, REA Farms (Savaii), Radio Polynesia Ltd and Koko Moni.
