The 20th International Game Fishing Tournament started yesterday with the ladies tournament.

Matilda Meredith Tapusoa from team A.N.Z showing her 67kg Monster Marlin, she caught yesterday on the first day of the 20th Samoa International Game Fishing Tournament. Launched on Saturday, the tournament started with the women’s competition yesterday.

The change of schedule follows the delayed arrival of some 16 boats from New Zealand, now scheduled to arrive today before the men’s tournament starts proper.
