Say hello to the future with the IPhone X*, which has officially landed in Samoa (pictured). 

Through the Samoa Observer’s #Observershots Instagram competition; one lucky person will be the owner of Apple’s latest iphone from BSL when the winner is announced on December 23, 2017.

Over the last two months, Samoans have captured the essence of ‘Everyday Samoa’ with their cameras and submitted their photos on Instagram as part of the #Observershots photo competition that ends on December 19th.

We have received almost 2000 photo entries to date and in that time we have seen snapshots that made us laugh out loud, feel nostalgic, joyful and some just simply took our breath away.  Participants in the competition have shared a piece of their paradise and inadvertently reminded us of both the grace and majesty that exists in every day Samoa.

While there can only be one winner of the highly coveted Iphone X, BSL have kindly provided  extra prizes of cameras or smart phones to reward the 9 finalists due to the high volume and quality of the photos that have been received so far.

There is still two weeks left in the #observershots competition follow us on Instagram @samoa_observer and enter your photo using the hashtag #observershots. The final top 10 will be published on Tuesday, December 19th giving you a chance to vote for your favourite pic before the winner (with the most votes) is announced on Saturday, December 23. 

All previous votes for each of the top 10 entries will be counted towards the final tally so keep voting for your favourite Observer shot Samoa!
