Graduates make families proud

This is a great week for the Palale family, Samoa College and the Vailele E.F.K.S. as they  rejoiced in seeing Theresa Palale graduate with a Bachelor of Engineering (in computers) from Griffith University.

A former dux of Samoa College and scholarship student to Australia, she has capped off a remarkable decade of academic achievements by being conferred with this “hard to come by” degree.

She is the daughter of Samoa College stalwart, Gaga’eolo Palale and Kalala Palale.

Gaga’eolo is known as a strong disciplinarian and his motivational sermons have inspired generations. Therefore it was not surprising to see his daughter graduate from one of Australia’s premier universities.

Theresa acknowledges the prayers of her many family and friends and she is forever indebted to her parents who are her biggest supporters and motivating force behind her unqualified success.

Also pictured in the photo is Asonei Leauga and she graduated with a Bachelor of Environmental Management.

Asonei is the daughter of Ann Leauga, one of the founders of Samoa Primary School.
