Re: Let’s not stop with the Police

I don’t disagree with the tone or the general gist of the editorial. 

It would be great if the same scrutiny is applied to other departments and government authorities.

My beef here is with the comments from the Attorney General. 

I think they are highly inappropriate and unnecessary given that he is just another public servant, like the policemen who were the target of his comments. How would he feel if the C.E.O of the makeki were to make public comments about his department? 

I am sure he won’t like it. He should focus himself on prosecuting cases and leave the running of other departments including those who work within, to others.

His involvement with the police case and his latest commentary makes you wonder about his motives. 

As they say at the makeki - if only ka’amu’s can talk.

Leave the congratulatory remarks to the politicians. That is what they do best.
