P.M. English is a Samoan chief

New Zealand Prime Minister, Bill English, has become Samoa’s newest chief.

On a state to visit to Samoa for the 55th Independence Day celebrations, English was bestowed the Leulua'ialiiotumua title at Faleula this morning.

He was accompanied by his wife, Dr. Mary English, and surrounded by their families during the service.

Prime Minister Tuilaepa Sa’ilele Malielegaoi was also present.

The prayer and blessing was led by Faleula C.C.C.S Reverend Fili Matalavea.
