Clarence Sebastian Foundation wins

Netball Samoa in partnership with Reckitt Benckiser held its first social one day netball competition at the new netball venue – GYM 3, last Saturday.  

The tournament attracted 10 teams from the business and community sector.  The venue was filled with old and new players and supporters coming together and being ENGAGED with Netball.  

CEO Netball Rosemarie Esera said: “With a busy domestic season ahead, the importance of skilled umpires is vital to the smooth running of the competition.  The tournament clearly highlighted it is an area that the Netball office needs to strengthen and attract competent people to be trained as umpires so that we can lift the quality and standard of the sport.  One of the objectives in the Netball Samoa Strategic Plan 2015-2019 is to “increase community engagement”

2nd –Slaughtermelon

3rd – Samoa Sports Facility Authority

4th – Bank of South Pacific
