Fa’afafine are respected in Samoa

Dear Editor,

Re: Religious and cultural elements affect L.G.B.T.I.

I read this with interest.

I think Tuisina Brown is ignoring the fact that our Fa’afafine’s are treated with respect in our community.

Our Prime Minister and the rest of our community for example respect and support the Fa’afafine Association in Samoa.

Some of them Fa’afafine hold good jobs/career with no exception from straight people.

With you highlighting those non-existence issues, you’re only creating a barrier there my dear lady.

Since when did you know any Fa’afine who had been rejected from any opportunities because of their sexuality?

Fa’afafine in our community are loved by every one, they’re smart, respectful, good sense of humour, can do all the house chores as a lady or a man, and full of Love.

Stop bringing up useless and wasting time issues. What more do you want?

God bless Samoa!
