Travel industry experts will once again descend upon Samoa to enjoy everything it has to offer and receive updates on some of their favourite Samoa products.

The Samoa Tourism Exchange, the annual gathering of travel industry movers and shakers will kick off next Monday at Samoa’s latest deluxe resort, Taumeasina Island Resort, which signals the start of a three day networking event designed to promote Samoa to its key source markets.

Buyers from Australia, New Zealand, American Samoa, the Americas, Europe and Asia will be treated to a range of activities designed to help the industry sell Samoa to the world.

Delegates will attend a pre STE 2017 famil with property inspections and activities across Samoa as well as a Food and Wine tour for all international buyers along Upolu’s famed South Coast (also known as the Romance Coast) with stops at the nation’s deluxe properties Aga Reef Resort, Seabreeze Resort, Sinalei Reef Resort and Spa, Coconuts Beach Club Resort and Spa and Return to Paradise Resort.

“The Samoa Tourism Exchange is one of the most important events on the Samoa Tourism calendar. It is our opportunity to reaffirm and strengthen our travel industry partnerships and alliances and gives us another opportunity to wow the world with what Samoa has to offer,” says Papali’i Sonja Hunter, C.E.O of Samoa Tourism Authority.

“2017 is shaping up to be a dynamic and exciting year for our nation, with a focus on promoting our unique culture, our sensational food and wine offering as well as the pristine surroundings which are some of what we are most famous amongst travellers for.

“Our conference and meeting offerings are constantly improving and the jump in sports tourism will keep us very busy this year, confirming the fact that Samoa is a destination with something to offer every kind of traveller.”
