Marist Sevens officially launched

The 31st Marist International Sevens was launched last night by the Marist St Joseph’s Sports Club at the Tanoa Tusitala Hotel. 

Club members and dignitaries including Chinese Ambassador Wang Xuefeng, New Zealand Acting High Commissioner Nick Hurley and Australian High Commissioner Sara Moriarty were present to show their support for the tournament. 

Prime Minister and Marist Club Patron, Tuilaepa Dr. Sailele Malielegaoi gave the keynote address, following an ava ceremony. 

The tournament, which will feature 24 men’s teams and 10 women’s, will take place on the 15th and 16th of February at ACP Stadium in Lotopa.
